Now and Then (1995)

This one-night-only screening is part of the series Summer Movie Nights, hosted by the Cinema Society of Kingston. The screening will be introduced by Cathryn Gillespie, who selected the film.

Admission is $10 (HST included).

A pact made in the summer of 1970 between childhood friends Roberta, Samantha, Teeny, and Chrissy to always be there for each other is invoked years later as Chrissy nears the end of her first pregnancy. This reunion brings the four friends back to their hometown—some of whom never left, while others had hoped never to return—reliving the memories of that pivotal summer when adulthood loomed on the horizon.
