The Screening Room Movie Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Kingston at 120 Princess Street [Google Maps], in Kingston Ontario Canada. We are on the second floor of the building.

We are on the south side of Princess Street between Bagot and Wellington. Nearby businesses: Tasty Indian Bar & Grill, Send in the Clowns gift shop, Dollar Tree, Shoppers Drug Mart.

Hours of Operation

Our building doors & Box Office open 30 minutes before the first screening of the day, and are closed 20 minutes after the last screening of the day.

Wheelchair Access

The Screening Room is fully wheelchair accessible! 

Here’s how to get in:

  • 1) Enter our cinema via the front 120 Princess Street entrance, then ride the elevator up to our Lower Lobby to buy tickets & snacks.
  • 2) From the Lower Lobby, you can ride the elevator to the Upper Lobby where the cinemas and washrooms are located.

We have multiple wheelchair spaces in all three cinemas, and a barrier-free washroom.

No wheelchair access from the rear Parking Garage entrance: when you enter via our rear parking garage entrance, you will need to climb 10 steps to reach the Lower Lobby.

We have the Best Parking in Downtown Kingston

Did you know that The Screening Room is physically connected to a City of Kingston parking garage? You can park your car for as long as you wish & enter The Screening Room without stepping foot in the snow or rain!

The Hanson Municipal Parking Garage is located at 105 Brock Street [Google Maps] at the corner of Brock St & Wellington St.

Parking costs $0.75 per 30 minutes until 6pm, and $3.00 maximum after 6pm and on Sundays. Pay by cash, credit card or debit.

FREE STREET PARKING Evening & Weekends: In downtown Kingston, street parking downtown is free after 5:30pm on Monday-Saturday, and all day on Sundays.

Access 2 Card

Yes, we accept the Access 2 Card, which allows card holders to bring a support person with them, free of charge! About the Access 2 Card program (official website), which is run by Easter Seals Canada.

  • Buying Tickets In Person: Simply show your card when buying a ticket in person at our Box Office
  • Buying Tickets Online In Advance: When purchasing a ticket, select the $0 “Gift Pass Reservation” option for the support person’s seat. When checking in at the Box Office, simply show your Access 2 Card to get them in for free.
