France, 1885. The talented cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) has worked for the preeminent gourmet Dodin for the last two decades. Their mutual admiration turns into a romance, and gives rise to dishes, one more delicious than the next, that confound even the world’s most illustrious chefs.
