A hybrid live music & film screening event presented by The Cinema Society of Kingston.

Live! At The Cinema is a concert and movie experience starring indie-folk-funk band ‘Bent Neck and The Joints’ and jazz fusion composers from A New Film Beat. Directed by Lauren Thomas, this energized approach to traditional cinema presentation will feature her sketch paper animations on the big screen and 9 unique musicians in the theatre.

Starring: Bent Neck and The Joints (Diana Herrera, Maddy James, Brandon Klerer, Dougie McBrien, Jackie McBrien, Lenny Mcgowan) and Sam Alexander, Kristen Kim, Marcus Tantakoun.

About Bent Neck and The Joints

Bent Neck and The Joints (Bandcamp) is a new band out of Hamilton Ontario focused on combining a vast array of influences into an incredibly tight and diverse live show, with members with musical backgrounds ranging from jazz to bluegrass to Colombian hardcore. The band’s in house horn section and their desire to prove to the audience how much fun playing music with your friends can be makes Bent Neck a hard act to overlook.
