“Later is Too Late” documents a nationwide mobilization calling for urgent action on the climate crisis, organized by Seniors for Climate on Oct. 1, 2024.
Events took place in 76 communities from Pugwash NS to Victoria BC to Yellowknife NT. Seniors, youth, indigenous elders, and environmental and climate justice activists from across Turtle Island share their perspectives.
A message of hope and resilience, the film recounts efforts to address the climate crisis across Turtle Island; as well as a first-hand account of loss during the wildfires in Jasper in 2024. Biologist David Suzuki shares his insights, and warning to humanity.

Film director Nancy Nicol (professor emerita, York University) is an award-winning documentary filmmaker with a long history of works on human rights and social justice.
