An adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic vampire novel directed by Francis Ford Copolla.

Gary Oldman plays Dracula whose lonely soul is determined to reunite with his lost love, Mina (Winona Ryder). In Britain, Dracula begins a reign of terror and seduction draining the life from her closest friend, Lucy (Sadie Frost). Together they try and drive Dracula away.

Dense in spellbinding detail. Rich in suggestiveness. Above all, vivid in imagery. – London Evening Standard

It is Coppola’s most lavish and, certainly, his most flamboyant film; never before has he allowed himself this kind of mad experimentation. – Washington Post
