B-Side Cinema
This July, join us in revisiting underrated movies from five great Hollywood auteurs: David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Sofia Coppola & David Lynch.
Each film will play on a Friday night (9:30pm) & a Thursday evening (5:40pm). Series host Dan Simpson will be present at the Thursday screenings to introduce & discuss each film.
About the Host: Daniel Simpson is a PhD student in Screen Cultures and Curatorial Studies at Queen’s University where he also works as an instructor for courses on film history, film theory, and the video essay. He also performs media criticism through a series of video essays available on Youtube under the name Eyebrow Cinema.
