The Harvest Freedom Caravan stops in Kingston for a free community screening of the documentary ‘Migrant Dreams‘.

Speakers from the Freedom Harvest Caravan, including organizer Chris Ramsaroop, with an update on the Windsor to Ottawa trek, that has been stopping in dozens of Ontario towns, demanding Status Now! for temporary foreign workers in Canada.

Synopsis: A powerful feature documentary by multiple award-winning director Min Sook Lee tells the under-told story of migrant agricultural workers struggling against Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) that treats foreign workers as modern-day indentured labourers. Under the rules of Canada’s migrant labour program, low wage migrants are tied to one employer.
