Sir John A. Macdonald Short Film Showcase

SALON Theatre will host a Short Film Showcase featuring short films made by grade 6, 7 and 8 students from Rideau Public School, videos from the SALON Acting Company, as well as a special advance screening of Cogeco Cable’s video special “In Sir John A’s Footsteps: Kingston’s Legacy of Canada’s Founding Father” – In partnership with the Kingston Canadian Film Festival.

Silence of the Labs

All are welcome to a special, free screening of this must-see CBC documentary which sheds much-needed light on the Harper Government’s ongoing war on science and evidence-based public policy. Following the showing, Kingston and the Islands MP Ted Hsu will lead a discussion on the issues raised in the documentary and will respond to questions.
